My boys won! What a wonderful game!
Now it's time to get ready to settle back into the reality of work and non-holiday life. Sigh. It's such a letdown.
Rant: What is UP with people that:
1. Can't RSVP for a function. Come ON it's evite for goodness sake, you just have to click a freaking button, not even pick up the phone!
2. Don't bother to show up or call to say that they aren't coming when they have said they would.
Seriously, I am starting to think we have cooties or something. We invited 8 sets of friends for football today and got 3 RSVPs and ONE person showed up. ONE! WTF?!?!?! I mean really, do we have the crappiest friends ever, or is everyone like this. Even my best friend that said last night (when we were at THEIR party that we RSVP'd to and showed up to) said the she would call this morning because she wasn't sure if they would be up for it after their party...no problem, just CALL!! Argh. Am I the only one that deals with this issue?
In other news, we looked at a house that we are seriously contemplating yesterday. It's in a great area, the perfect amount of space, a great lay-out. The downside is it's about 50k more than we wanted to spend, but in this market we may have to shell out for what we want. If we do decide to go for it we will most likely wait for the next phase so we can buy before it's built and customize more. Anyway, here is the model we are looking at:

The floorplan doesn't show it well, but the master is actually on it's own level, so it's 4 stories... sort of. It's hard to explain! The master is a 1/2 floor up from the main living area, then 2 bedrooms are on the top floor and 1 is on the bottom floor. It's interesting. This site has pictures:

I suck at Evite, and I fully admit it. Sometimes I don't even check them, because I hate the fact that the person can see you've checked it but not responded. However, we do try to drop an email or a phone call.
Although if I had promised anyone anything Sunday night, I would surely not have remembered a thing about it yesterday.
Sorry nobody showed!
