After all the work-up from the holidays, it's over! It's sad, and relieving at the same time. It was wonderful, K had fun, but it was also overwhelming for her. I hope that next year when she "gets it" it will be better.
The hit gift this year was her TJ Beary Tales, Mike and I are already ready to throw it out the window! It's annoying as hell, but she loves it.
Today we are headed to the mall with my step-mom who flew up yesterday and meeting up with my friend and her son, I adore post-holiday shopping!!! I hope to make out with some good snags! Tomorrow I am supposed to go to work... but I may work from home. It's going to be DEAD in my office.
In K news, we are getting ready to do Potty-learning. She is constantly pulling her pants down and saying "I take a potty???" Yikes! I was not ready for this yet, but she obviously is... so there you go!
In other news eating out is no longer fun with the wonderful Miss K. She has NO concept of lowering her voice. It's a bummer, we just love eating out but we are resigned to eating at Red Robin and the like for the time being. Hopefully this is a hurdle we can overcome soooooon!! To compensate we are going on a date Friday to a fancy-schmancy restaurant while grandma babysits!
